Here’s a new playset for Unincorporated! In case the original setting was just too urban, now you can play a hapless biologist, ranger, intern, or volunteer at Vigil Creek Nature Preserve, where something weird has just happened. Was it supernatural? Alien? Or just a prank that got out of hand? Whatever, now you have to deal with tabloid reporters, aspiring YouTubers, or just curious locals getting in the way while you try to do your work.

And, because if I’m playing a game in an unfamiliar setting, I get hung up on not knowing what this job or setting is actually like, there’s a list of things that work might be. You don’t have to know anything about the day-to-day workings of a wildlife preserve. Or wildlife at all, for that matter. You’re encouraged to just make species up. There’s a set of lists for that, too!

Besides, this is still Unincorporated, so whatever you were doing will be derailed by interpersonal drama very soon…
